About TYPA Sports Academy
TYPA Sports Academy provides a curriculum-based framework for competitive youth sports for boys and girls. We currently offer year-round programming in baseball, basketball, and soccer, each built around a proven development system and coordinated by a dedicated Program Coordinator. Our goal is to provide consistency, skill progression, and meaningful positive competition in an inclusive and developmentally appropriate environment.
Our Philosophy
We believe youth sports should focus on long-term development—not just short-term performance. TYPA Sports Academy emphasizes:- Age-appropriate skill progression and fundamentals
- Equal access to high-quality instruction across all teams
- Consistent coaching through structured curricula (Driveline for Baseball, USA Basketball for Basketball, and US Youth Soccer for Soccer)
- Supportive team environments that balance competition with growth
- A program structure that is independent of individual coaching styles
Program Coordinators not only coach a team but also oversee training delivery across age groups and support coaches in implementing the curriculum.
